Cautions

Please do not give this medication to anyone younger than twelve years old or younger than eighteen years old who has recently undergone surgery to remove their tonsils or adenoids.

An overdose of acetaminophen will cause damage to your liver and may even result in death. If you have been experiencing pain in the upper right quadrant of your stomach, loss of appetite, jaundice, or dark urine, you should contact your doctor as soon as possible.

Suppose you combine opioid treatment with alcohol or other medications that cause drowsiness or slow your breathing. In that case, you put yourself at risk of experiencing adverse effects that could prove fatal.

If you have been given redness of the skin or a rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling, you should immediately stop taking this medication and talk to your doctor about it.
