Product Information:

Actos 15 mg contains pioglitazone, an oral antidiabetic medicine from the thiazolidinedione class.
It helps control type 2 diabetes mellitus by improving the body’s sensitivity to insulin, which lowers blood sugar levels. It is usually used along with diet, exercise, and sometimes other diabetes medicines.

How to Take:

• Take by mouth with water

• Can be taken with or without food

• Take it at the same time each day

• Do not crush or chew the tablet

• Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully

Dosage

Dosage is decided by the doctor based on blood sugar levels and response.

Typical dosage:

• Starting dose: 15 mg once daily
