This medication is used to treat tension headaches. Acetaminophen in the mixture aids in the relief of headache pain. Caffeine enhances the effects of acetaminophen. Butalbital is a sedative that reduces tension and causes drowsiness and rest.
BUTALBITAL-ACETAMINOPHEN-CAFFE APPLICATION
Take this medication orally, without or with food, as directed by your doctor, on occasion every 4 hours as needed.
If taking this medication in liquid form, carefully measure the dose with a special measuring device/spoon. You will not get the correct amount if you use a family spoon.
The dose is determined by your scientific condition, age, and reaction to the remedy. This remedy works incredibly well when used as soon as the first symptoms of a headache appear. If you wait until the headache becomes unbearable, the medication may not work.
If you suddenly stop taking this medication, you will experience withdrawal symptoms (such as nausea/vomiting, mental/mood changes, and seizures). To help prevent withdrawal, your doctor may advise you to reduce your dose gradually. Exit is more likely if you have used this medication for an extended time or in high doses. If you experience withdrawal symptoms, contact your doctor or pharmacist right away.
Although it benefits many of us, this medication should be used to treat addiction. This risk is also increased if you have a substance use disorder (such as an addiction to pills or alcohol). To reduce the possibility of dependence, take this medication exactly as directed. For more information, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Inform your doctor if you notice increased use of this medication, a worsening of complications, an increase in the number of headaches, the medication not working correctly, or use of this medication for more than two headache episodes per week. Don’t exceed the recommended dosage. Your doctor may need to change your medication and upload a different medicinal drug to save you headaches.
