A clone has the same genetic makeup as the plant it was taken from, which is called the mother plant. When growing cannabis, you have two paths to choose from: seeds or clones. However, both methods have their downsides. To successfully do this, take clones from the lower branches of a plant when it’s in the second or third week of flowering. It is a prime example of asexual propagation replicating a single-parent plant outside the means of sexual reproduction.
