Prandin 1 mg contains repaglinide, an oral antidiabetic medicine used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus.
It belongs to the meglitinide class and works by stimulating the pancreas to release insulin, especially around mealtimes, helping control post-meal blood sugar levels. It is used along with diet and exercise.

How to Take:

• Take by mouth with water

• Take 15–30 minutes before meals

• Usually taken before each main meal

• Skip the dose if you skip a meal

• Do not crush or chew the tablet

Dosage:

Dosage is individualized based on blood sugar levels.

Typical dosage:

• Starting dose: 0.5–1 mg before each main meal

• Dose may be adjusted gradually

• Maximum single dose: 4 mg
