Biktarvy® is a prescription antiretroviral medication used for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients who meet specific clinical criteria. How Biktarvy Works

Standard adult dose: 50 mg bictegravir / 200 mg emtricitabine / 25 mg tenofovir alafenamide
Lower-strength tablets are available for certain pediatric patients

Important Safety Information

Biktarvy should only be used under medical supervision. Regular blood and kidney function tests may be required during treatment.

Not recommended in patients with severe kidney or liver disease
May worsen hepatitis B infection if treatment is stopped suddenly
Drug interactions may occur with certain anticonvulsants, antibiotics, and herbal products such as St. John’s Wort
