Artefill (brand name Bellafill) is a long-lasting injectable dermal filler. It is made of:

• Purified bovine (cow) collagen – gives immediate volume

• PMMA microspheres (polymethyl methacrylate) – tiny beads that stay in the skin and support long-term results

It is FDA-approved for specific cosmetic and medical uses.

Uses:

Artefill/Bellafill is used to:

• Reduce deep facial wrinkles, especially nasolabial folds (smile lines)

• Treat certain types of acne scars

• Restore facial volume lost due to aging

 It is not approved for lip fillers or general body contouring.

How It Is Taken:

• Artefill is not swallowed or applied at home

• It is injected into the skin by a licensed medical professional

• A skin test is usually done beforehand to check for allergy to bovine collagen

• Treatment is done in a clinic or medical office

Warnings:
