Product Information:

Juvederm Volux XC is an FDA-approved hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler specifically designed for jawline and chin augmentation. It uses Vycross technology, which combines low- and high-molecular-weight HA for long-lasting, smooth, and firm results.
It is commonly used to:

• Define the jawline

• Enhance chin projection

• Improve facial contour and symmetry

Results are immediate and typically last up to 18–24 months, depending on patient metabolism and treated area.

How to Take:

• Only a licensed, trained clinician should inject Juvederm Volux XC.   

• Administered deep into the subcutaneous tissue or supraperiosteally (above bone) for structural support.                               

• Techniques vary by area, often using linear threading, bolus injections, or fanning techniques.                                                           

• The filler comes pre-mixed with lidocaine for patient comfort.                  

• Results are visible immediately, with gradual settling over days.

Dosage:

• Typical dosage: 1–2 syringes per session for jawline or chin enhancement.                                                                                               

• Treatment is tailored to the patient’s anatomy and desired outcome.          

• Touch-ups or additional volume may be added after several weeks if needed.                                                                                                      

• Repeat treatments are usually considered 12–24 months later, depending on longevity and patient preference.

Warnings:

• Do not use if you:

  • Are allergic to HA, lidocaine, or other ingredients in Juvederm Volux XC                                                                                                  

  • Have active skin infection, inflammation, or acne at the injection site                                                                                           

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding (safety not established)                  

• Vascular risk: Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause skin necrosis, vision problems, or stroke.                                                      

• Use caution in patients on anticoagulants, as bruising or bleeding may increase.                                                                                             

• Avoid injection in areas with previous filler or scarring unless clinically indicated.

Side Effects:

• Swelling

• Redness

• Pain or tenderness

• Bruising

• Firmness or lumps at the injection site
