Radiesse Plus

Product Information:

Radiesse Plus is a dermal filler injectable made of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel. It also contains a small amount of lidocaine (a local anesthetic) to reduce pain during the injection. It is used by trained medical professionals to temporarily add volume and restore contours to areas of the face and lower face. 

• The product stimulates your body’s own collagen production, so results can appear immediately and may continue to improve over time.

How It Works:

Procedure:

• A qualified clinician cleans the area and plans injection sites.

• Radiesse Plus is injected using a fine needle or cannula into the soft tissue beneath the skin. The lidocaine in the formula helps reduce discomfort during the injections.

• The entire visit often takes about 15–30 minutes depending on treatment areas.

Aftercare

Typical aftercare may include:

• Avoiding strenuous exercise, excessive heat and heavy sun exposure for ~24 hours. Gentle care of the treated region and avoiding pressure for the first day.

• Following any specific instructions given by your provider.

There’s usually minimal downtime and many people return to normal activities quickly.

Warnings:

Radiesse Plus must be administered only by trained healthcare professionals familiar with facial anatomy. 

Serious risks include:

• Vascular occlusion (blocking a blood vessel), which can lead to skin necrosis, vision loss, blindness, stroke, or even permanent damage if material enters a blood vessel.

• Allergic reactions, especially in people with known hypersensitivity to lidocaine or any component.

• Infection at the injection site (as with all injections).

If you experience sudden vision changes, severe pain, skin discoloration, or signs of stroke, seek emergency medical attention immediately

Side Effects:

Most side effects are localized and temporary.

• Bruising

• Redness

• Swelling

• Tenderness or pain

• Itching
  These usually last a few days to a week.
